Hotel was sub standard in all respects. the rooms are desparate for a lick of paint and the showers are weak. a little money input would take this hotel a long way. also there is no bar. my recomendation would be to spend the extra few pounds for a travelodge it has all the same facilities but is alot nicer.
Top Tip
dont walk back here from the secc thinking its not that far with anything less than hiking boots or really good trainers. wait in the taxi queue it WILL be quicker.

Walking distance to amenities. Accommdating staff.
Maybe a communal area/bar would be beneficial.

Although the decor is rather tired, the hotel is clean and ideally situated for the city centre, there's also a bit of a climb but nothing major. The staff are friendly and efficient and breakfast is outstanding, we'll be back!
Top Tip
Close to all city centre attractions, Wetherspoon's and Yates pubs, King Tut's, the Garage, ABC, CCA and a few minutes from Queen Street railway station.

Very unfortunate boiler problem affecting heating and hot water but adequate alternative heater installed and were able to share shower room in the 2nd room we booked. Staff couldn't have been more helpful or apologetic and agreeable refund accepted.
Top Tip
This hotel is a comfortable little B & B in a street which runs parallel with Sauchiehall Street, or leads on to Buchanan Street Centre. Loads of cafes bars, restaurants and entertainment within walking distance (but up very steep hill) and only a 4 minute taxi ride to SECC for less than £5.

I had to complain as the curtains were dirty and torn and the shower room smelt of drains, the former was sorted well they put up slightly cleaner curtains but the shower room was left. The plants outside the hotel were dead and the place looked unkempt for a 3 star - it was disgraceful that it was a Scotish Tourist board star. The breakfast was ok but no fresh fruit, coffee came out of a machine and broke down twice. The cooked breakfast was made in advance so everything was dry and tasteless. All in all not a good experience!
