A very good hotel. Very clean and comfortable with courtious staff. For car drivers I would give the location a 5 out of 5, otherwise 3.5 out of 5. Being a Saturday night (like other city centre hotels) it suffered from noise. On the 23 June it was mainly screeching and shouting females which went on throughout the night (at least until 4am). Not sure how much of this was from customers splilling out from the hotel bar (ie going outside to smoke) or from arrivals or passers by but it did continue througout the night. I think the hotel should monitor this and take action if necessary since it was disturbing. The walk to or from the City centre can seem intimidating because of the high rise residential flats close to the hotel and general demeanor of this part of Glasgow. It does not take long however to get to the City and the walk across the Clyde River bridges is pleasant. I suspect taxis's are inexpensive hence this on balance would be recommended.
